A life-changing speaker, Steve Maraboli, once wrote, Lent is when “you’re not on a journey to God; you are on a journey WITH God.”  Let us during our Lenten journey aim to reflect on our present lifestyle, and consider how we can be more prayerful, more forgiving, more caring of others, and how we can be more aware of God’s presence even in those COVID fearing days.

You all have received the Chimes and you are well informed; however, I will give a few highlights:

  • The church office is closed to the public until further notice.
  • As per direction from the Diocese, all pastoral visits/interactions will be via telephone, email, or by zoom appointments.  To arrange appointments contact Rev’d David by cell at 746-2095 or email at [email protected],  or Rev’d Lynn by cell at 682-8500 or email at [email protected]
  • Our regular 11 a.m. Sunday services will continue to be online via ZOOM through the parish’s facebook page which you can reach by way of the Parish’s website if you are not a Facebook member.
  • Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, is tomorrow, Wednesday.  There will be an online service at 7 o’clock that evening.
  • The ‘Lent in a Bag’ activities will be available online beginning Ash Wednesday.  Just check at to find out about the resources for your use.

  • Due to the office closure your tax receipts will now be mailed.  If your address has changed recently please inform the office by calling 368-5693 or emailing [email protected] to update your file.  Your Lenten folders are not available, but you can still contribute by placing your donation in an envelope and dropping it in the church mailbox (located at the front steps of the church). Or you can donate electronically on line at CanadaHelps.  Thank you.
  • You will receive details regarding the AGM closer to the scheduled date of March 7.
  • This is Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day!!   Enjoy pancakes for dessert tonight!
