In the midst of the celebrations of the Christmas Season, let us not forget that ‘Jesus is the reason for the season.’

Several Advent packages which include the 2023 Church Envelopes are waiting to be picked up.  They are located at the church entrance.  If you are able to deliver any of those, it would be greatly appreciated.

For those who were at the ‘Retirement Tea’ for Canon Lynn this past Sunday, I am sure you will agree it was a lovely time together. Thanks to all who made it possible, especially the lovely spread of sandwiches, cookies, etc.  Canon Lynn will indeed be missed.  God Bless both her and Wayne as they continue their life journey together.

There are several copies of the Bishop’s Christmas Pastoral Letter at the entrance of the church if you would like a copy.

The ‘Stations of the Crib’ will be at 10:30 this morning as has been usual during Advent.

You still have a couple more days to drop a few extra things in the food bank box to help struggling families during this Season.  Thanks so much for caring.

Many of you are waiting for the details of Daisy Saunders’ funeral:  You will find all the information on Barrett’s Funeral Home website.

May the Gift of Love, Peace, and Happiness be yours during this Christmas Season.

Jean (On behalf of the Ascension)
