Ascension News (November 24, 2023)

AdminChurch eNews

Following Dean Bellamy’s vein of thinking in his homily on Sunday past, I feel it is so fitting to once again mention the opportunity we are given to be active participants in one of the various ministries at the Ascension: Parish Network Visitors, Ways and Means Team, Eucharistic Assistants, Choir, Confirmation Team, Sunday School, etc.  It has been noted that the more active participation of parishioners in the ministries within a parish, the more the love, unity, and fellowship abound among all. We were all given gifts of the spirit, so we need to use these God-given gifts to support our leaders and to enable our church family to continue to grow.
