Pastoral care at Ascension is a ‘ministry of being, not merely of doing’ – being with and listening to people in their times of confusion, joy, pain and recovery. Our Clergy are dedicated to giving spiritual guidance or direction to all who seek it.
One of our programs, Parish Network Visitors (visitation of the shut-ins, the disabled and the lonely) is a dedicated ministry of individuals and clergy who stay in contact with anyone in our Parish Family who are shut-in. This group also assists in the All Soul’s Service and the Parish Education Day and other events that focus on fellowship and prayer.
